- To preserve and enhance the Hayes Valley business community
- To use our collective power to work with city agencies on business initiatives that impact our members
- To be a participant in policy making that affects all facets of conducting business in Hayes Valley
- To aggressively defend our independent roots
- We actively seek to enforce the ban on Formula Retail
We recognized the need to form a small business association. We face many serious issues and strongly believe we are better equipped to tackle these challenges with a unified voice. If you have arrived here it’s because the HVSBA leadership recognizes that your core small business values align with the purpose and mission outlined above.
